always in flight

as I create simple birds from raveling muslin . remembered words . gentle curves 

sweet strong threads connect me to my mom . gone yet ever present

fluttering along side . on the bare white branches perched by a window

 

a wish for all friends this day and always

moments forever in the breeze . soft yet strong 

with heart shaped wings

six thirty on monday

in the morning quiet . the moon beckoned

 tucked and supported among the shadows of the oaks 

  leaving the sky and night  . a gift received as day begins

in the window
