have hit the inevitable plateau . fifty two week project blues
then I gather raveling fabric . torn words . a pebble to say "thank you"
for staying so many weeks . the birds would not still be here if you were not
I am posting
here today on a breeze . memories
sifted . while looking up in
awe

the birds invite me to take a bit of time to reflect on the words and the meaning. thank you for sharing such a wonderful project.
So much, from day one, I've admired this great project you're undertaken just to bring us JOY each week, Elk... I have found i so inspirational! I love very frayed edge and loose thread...thank YOU! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
Oh the lull, the plateau. You know I'm there too. You're still making beautiful things!
Another beautiful addition
Love the bird concept here...thankful on all sides.
Hey Elk, thank you for all your lovely sharing ~ your art soothes my soul. I bookmark so many of the links, they grab my attention and I go back to enjoy them more.
Hope you have a great weekend!

I do look foward to each of your Friday posts elk! Each beautiful little bird and each wonderful link have been enjoyable....We need to thank YOU!
I was actually wondering, before I read your post, how you were feeling about this project, now 36 weeks in. I guess it's inevitable that sometimes it seems more difficult than others to find the photos, birds, and words. But I have certainly been enjoying it and look forward to the rest.
so simply beautiful and calm ... thank you for persevering
oh those sweet pebbles.....
I love your birds.
And you:)

Plateaus are hard because there isn't much view until you get to the edge .... Hoping the sky opens up for you atop that flattened out high ground.
Hugs, K
So sweet! Love this little bird full of gratitude. I saw your beautiful work on the front page of etsy today! Well done :)
I adore this! So simple, yet so huge in it's impact. I love this sweet combination of texture and tone! So lovely!
I drilled a hole in a rock last week and felt so much opened up for me. May you see much open for you and you'll be off of this plateau. Thank you.
there is a gentleness about your sweet birds and words. thank YOU!
