it ripped between the s and t ... as I prepared to create a simple bird
instead of casting it off as an unusable piece of text
I embraced the metaphor that spoke to me
we are not always strong . yet often stronger than we realize
at times overwhelmed with "rips" of life or held together in soft watercolors and muslin
torn between strength and .... what we make of it
aspens on a journey . bliss of a moment . making sense
one day early this week . because I feel the strength today
who knows about tomorrow
....
listening to this CD for inspiration today
passing it on as a reminder . you are beautiful ... and strong

Lovely post. Great song.
I don't know how you do this time after time...each post is equally divine:)
beautiful an encouraging message. thank you
You just put it out there, don't you? So much beauty, rips and all ... I love you for it.
the fact that you believed in it even after it ripped... this made me cry.
Wonderfully symbolic - that at times our strength is torn from us..but always possible to repair. Beautiful - as always!
i needed this encouragement today... thank you.
p.s. LOVE that Gungor song :)
The tear makes the bird all the more special...we all have flaws but shouldn't be discarded because of them, they are part of who we are.
Yes.. Strength has many faces and is sometimes unrecognizable. I like accidental signs like this that speak to whomever is ready to hear.
LOVE that song!
Oh, I always love your linky posts. They are like receiving a well chosen gift. Thank you.
I've heard it said that the patch is often stronger than the original fabric, so true in our lives.
