you may know putting away
groceries is not my favorite task
often I attempt to make it more enjoyable
in the sun ~ it made me smile . with the leaf still attached
in the shadow ~ of a smooth table by a window overlooking a wild garden
in the water ~ a cool stream washing it clean . drenching me as well
in the towel ~ soft and frayed soaking up droplets of water . ready to eat
in the creamy dish ~ juicy and meant to savor . while the rest of the groceries call

The water photo is so cool, almost looks like a painting!
i'll have to try this trick....i hate putting groceries away, too.....and i hate buying them :(
Yum! I love it when fruit comes home with the leaf still attached! :)
Yum! Peaches are one of favorites. I love their taste, their feel and their beauty!
oh my gosh... adore these photos....and yummy.... please, please... come quick...bring the peaches. :)
love to you.... happiest 4th my friend.....xxo
I'm going to eat a peach now... Yum! :-)
All wonderful but the water shot is the best.
I loved this step-by-step on how to enjoy a peach, Elk... beautiful moment...*sigh*... Oddly, I don't mind grocery shopping, or putting it all away either--I think about all the good meals that will be had with the food just purchased. Then invariably, I want to cook right away... LOL! Happy Week, my friend... And Happy 4th! ((HUGS))
A peach is so much more than a fruit, isn't it. I love them warm straight from the tree. And under water, aren't they amazing?
All the other groceries can wait - unless, of course, they're Ben&Jerry. xo
Sensuous.
Oh I think peaches are beautiful...hugs for a great July 4th today. xoxox
that first pic...just wanna take a bite!
I remember your "tomato" photo shoot (didn't you do a pear one, too?) i love when you do this :)
I really love the shot of the peach on the table looking out to the garden, that's awesome! Great idea.
Hope you and family have a terrfic 4th

I like the way you put away groceries :). Delicious!
thank you for following the life of your exquisite peach. it must take a very long time to put groceries away (big grin),
love the water fall washing!
palatable beauty.
Elk style
I especially like #2 and #3!
i love how you see art in the every-day, beautiful friend...
I'm not a big fan of shopping or putting away groceries, so I guess that just leaves eating them to enjoy:)
Your peach celebration is lovely! Water running over the peach - super capture!
delicious.
I may never look at putting away the groceries as a boring task again. How beautiful
I love putting away groceries! It's so orderly and enjoyable. Though I would enjoy it even more if my refrigerator weren't full of dog food - the one downside of packaged raw.
These are making me want a peach!
...an ode to a peach:)
Very fun! I don't know if I could do that, but maybe next time I'll try!
Oh elk, I can dawdle and put off chores just like this. I could just picture myself doing the same and just love how you so simply shared this time with us! (must qualify, that I may have done the same but oh to come out with your results...)
your photos are more gorgeous than ever!
i love peaches... perhaps because my name is georgia? well... i think i'd love them no matter what my name is. =)
i'd have never thought to photograph them. you make them as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat.
You, my friend, are one of the few people I know that can turn putting groceries away into art. Love this celebration of a peach.
