a simple yellow bloom with soft gray green leaves
became a daily respite through camera lens
barely reaching bud seen on day one
amid shadows and rain storm midweek
to blooms wide open in sunshine
the ebb and flow of my week
settled in a garden
I will be away from my computer for a time . tending to the garden of life

Its an aww moment.. Beautiful.
I took photos last week and this. I need time to edit..
Loved these.
The yellow of these flowers is so vibrant! I love the beautiful leaves too. And thank you, as always, for your beautiful words x
it's amazing how sometimes nature perfectly reflects things going on in our lives (if I interpreted that correctly!)
Such softness and delight... I like the silvery-green of the dusty miller with the golden yellows--lovely pairing! :o) Happy Week, Elk ((HUGS))

Fun to see them bloom before our very eyes. Enjoy your tending.
What a wonderful way to look at things - the 'garden of life'. Hope your time is special and good!
So lovely and soothing with your words. Have fun tending!
Wow Elk, the synchronicity of things sometimes leaves me stunned. I have been immersing myself in images popping with yellows… and you post these! Tiny little suns, so beautiful! x Alisa
Thank you for sharing the unfolding beauty.
What wonderful photos-- your shots are so clear and sharp--excellent. And, yes, we all need to tend to the garden of life (so well put). I, especially need to water and fertilize a little more and pull some of those "weeds" out. Hope your daughter has a wonderful summer. Mine just moved up to Kansas City to start Physical Therapy school. I'm certainly going to miss her. Mickie :)
