labels peeled from silver
let go into suds and warmth
padding barefoot picking garden gravel
glue melody and grocery bag . stitching paper love
a recycled space for a unique bulb to stretch . to reach for light
life stares back from the warmth of a kitchen table

Just beautiful, poetry in the simplest of things. x Renilde
Such a great presentation of paper whites reaching for the light! I've been tucking mine between the window and the curtain, hoping to warm them enough to bloom...white in the light, so fresh, so clean, so new.
I sure need something to brighten up my kitchen, but I'd have to dig through the snow to get my rocks :)
i love the
steps
you lay out
& their
every
ingredient.
your bloom
is

i hope you got my card.
you've been missed... by me!
i've missed your photos.
i hope i can be more deliberate and disciplined this year
with visiting all my old friends in blog land.
i certainly will try.
thanks for your recent comments and wishes!
just wanted to pop in and say

beautiful! before we became apartment dwellers my yard bloomed with hardy old paperwhites from my grandmother's garden. now i'm inspired to try some bulbs inside.
So beautiful - even before it blooms.
You inspire me, give my imagination wings, ELK! I gave my mother-in-law some paperwhite bulb kits for Christmas. The vases that came with them are not nearly so pretty. Now I'll know what to do next time :).
what sweet and beautiful repurposing. i know they are treasured!
i love the way you described this, my first round have withered but i will set one more upon those rocks, love the green that grows like spring.
Your craft cleverness is inspiring.
this post just shows the possiblities, I loved taking it in today
Oh this is lovely... stitching paper love...padding barefoot in the garden (we won't be able to do that for many months yet again here--I miss it!)... There is an awkwardness in life & living, but there is such beauty in it, yes? I greatly admire how your words & images flow together. Happy Day, Elk :o) ((HUGS))
can't really find the words to tell you how. much i adore this!! honestly... how do you do it!! i feel instant calm and my heart fills with love...every time I visit...
xxo, kim
This is just absolutely perfect.
I can feel the textures of the creation,
and of the words.
i love this idea.....wow.....thank you so much for sharing your talents with us....
I bought a paperwhite one year. I was never so delighted as when it actually bloomed.
Your container is simple yet beautiful. Very fitting.
of course you know how to do this. thank you.
