Sooo lovely... It has an almost lace-like quality! Do you know the name of this flower, Elk? I can't quite place it at a glance... I love white flowers--they just "pop" in the garden, and hence all the other colors around them. Happy Day, my friend :o) ((HUGS))
These are so milky white I love that their name reflects this. I am surprised at the flowers I see hanging on around here, the cold weather has not frighten them away yet.
Mom, we have those flowers -all- over Mo. I've been watching Monarchs land on them for a few weeks now, wondering whether they were Milkweed or not. How fun to find them here on your page as well. : )

milkweed hangs on for sustenance until the last Monarchs have flown south
