preparing to take flight . . . at this time of year, i feel a bit jealous of them, a bit melancholy at the knowledge they will be gone soon. but.. something to look forward to in the spring.

Love the birds on a wire. I often see a whole bunch of them together like that on my way to work and either have no time or no camera to capture them.

Your first photo is especially interesting and thought provoking. You've captured something quite extraordinary...one single bird on a wire, alongside a separate wire full of many, many birds. Is there a message within this photo...hmm, I wonder?
