almost a year ago I received a random
email from a stranger ... generously offering a few of her childhood books
to use for my cards and art .. I offered her encouragement to begin a BLOG
we both said YES and it was real .. the world is like that sometimes .. I am glad

i too love the connections and kindness that seem to flow from one blogger to the next and not everyone does have a blog and I really apperiate them too for checking in and for reaching out! what a difference this little old internet world of ours makes
Blogworld is just jam-packed with thrills like these! One never knows what's coming 'round the bend...
This is why I love the blog world. Beautiful post Elk, and a happy Thursday to you too.
Wonderful! Friends are found in unexpected places!!
What a blessing you are, ELK. You've turned a love-worn corner of a book into art ...thank you!
You and Susan are both special...and it shows here...

This reminds me so much of my young childhood spent at my grandparents' house! they always had old children books that I love so much. These are precious.

The gift of a friend... one of life's sweetest treasures! :o) Happy Day, Elk ((HUGS))
I just love how supportive and affirming the blog world is. I have said before, but it bears repeating: I think of bloggers as people spinning a web of peace across the world.
i'm glad to know both of you through your wonderful blogs.
Really? How awesome is that? I'm so glad you suggested a blog to her. Wow! This is soo REAL!
