The lost art of note writing...yes! My daughter and I owned a handmade paper notecard company we called "TouchNotes"...in an attempt to encourage handwritten notes. It's a good thing. :) Have a great rest of the week, Becky
.......AND FROM THE PAST...sweet little mayday 'head-halo' wear, and necklaces of flowers, too...and the ribbons round the maypole, which i never experienced...and surprise mayday baskets on the door! truth? or dick and jane fiction?
...beautiful vintage illustrations...I love old children's books...and I don't write enough note to tell you the truth...And Howdy to you to dear elk... xo
I do love the simple message attached this note and I am big fan of vintage book art, nice combination. I also wanted to thank you for the beautiful postcard I recieved from you through sperygirl's postcard swap. It is clipped up in my art space I love looking at it. kt
I actually do like note writing and make my own little photo notecards sometimes. Notes are so less daunting than letters. I may never write another actual letter since email exists but notes I can handle.

Note writing is something I do miss. Doing and receiving.
oh so TRUE! how much more happy i am when i find a note in the mailbox nestled amongst the bills & catalogs.
and i love those illustrations - such innocence.

Oh how brave and strong to actually use a vintage book for art. I can't quite bring myself to do that - yet. Nice spring look today!
Oh, how I love the art in vintage books. What a wonderful use for it!
