lines DO etch new leaves and soft petals & i love that thought, especially as i grow older. and the shadows of petals on petals on that last shot - so wonderful!
You picked the perfect time of day to shoot, the lighting is fantastic and the colors are glorious. I wish I had a dogwood to celebrate. I don't see them around here. Something about #4 especially speaks to me.
Absolutely breathtaking!!!These are some of the most beautiful photos you have ever posted and considering your work is always exquisite that says alot!!!!Have a lovely day- Annamaria :)XX
pink dogwoods are one of my most favorites...and the way you've captured the light coming through the petals and shadows bouncing here and there in a halo of warmth....just beautiful.
I've been looking everywhere for a pink dogwood to photographer. I keep finding white ones. You've inspired me to look harder. Happy spring, my friend. And, happy weekend.
i think the last is my favorite... love the bokeh in the backgound, the richness of color, the transparency of the petals and leaves... simply beautiful

The light illuminates the delicate veins so beautifully. Perfection!
such soft pink blossoms. i wonder how it got the name dogwood.
These are beautiful - the lighting in these images is gorgeous. The flowers look almost like they're dancing in the light.
Such beautiful light! A coincidence, that on your week of celebrating the dogwood I'm reading J. McCrae's 'Bark of the Dogwood' ;)
