Well I see I'm not the only one who won't be seeing beautiful pinks like this for a while...except here, of course!
oh man, we're still about a month away from quince blossoms... :(
Beautiful!
Wow, spring is on it's way for you. Japonica is one of the first flowers to break out in my garden at springtime too.
a beautiful reminder that in the starkness of time, blooms can happen. lovely shots.

That PINK has my heart singing...Spring is the most joyful of months...*sigh*... Happy Weekend, Elk :o) ((HUGS))
Elk - those were my very thoughts this morning as had the pleasure of stretching this morning in front of some of these exact, splendiferous pink buds! How wonderful that you have the same in your garden!!
how pretty. i really like the pink against the brown.
Exquisite..and so very hopeful. It's snowing here today - :-(. Am so looking forward to spring's first buds!!
How very beautiful and dainty!
ahh.
hope in a frame.
Such a breath of fresh air these images bring! I keep looking for signs of spring...at least the sun is shining and the temp a little warmer.
You got my memo...I got yours...xoxoxo
Hooray for PINK! in SPRING!
Goregous buds. I look forward to our changing season - I can feel the cool Autumn air joining us - it is a relief after our hot summer. Have a good weekend.
:) Us too. Tulip trees and pear trees are blooming before my very eyes. The Azalea Trail, of which I live smack dab 2 houses away from the main tourist spot is a couple of weekends away. By then we will be covered in flowers (and tourists). Spring. At last. Wisteria, camellias, cherry laurels, blossoms, blossoms everywhere. I cannot wait.
xo
