The top image is particularly stunning. I really like how the tip of the plant goes off the frame and the other tip is hidden behind the bloom. There's an elegance.
Should just email this, but what the hey. Trying to find something Miss Maggie will eat, my own belly upset with this daily struggle, exhausted, tired. At last, at last, a food she will nibble and a moment to relax and your blog. Still life it says, but I see Still. Life. And think yes, still life, and say a prayer of gratitude for that. Thank you.
So lovely, even as they fade and say "goodbye"... the photo with their shadows is hauntingly beautiful, almost Asian-brush-like-painting... You have the best eye for details, Elk! Happy Week :o) ((HUGS))

Amazing diversity using the same subject.
& a final bow back to this beauty you've so honorably captured.
I've missed you!
final bow....often I love them better in that state then when they are fresh and new....
this is so beautiful.
there's beauty in the final act, too ...
I love the shadow shot.
Beautiful ... and I love the double meaning in the title of this post....
Oh, your title, your words, your images, I love them all!
sometimes i think flowers are just as pretty as they fade.
love the 2 chairs in the 2nd shot, and the shadowy wall... and the link to the fresh flowers... :)

These shots make me long for spring!
amazing.
Makes me not want to trim and cut back and "beautify"
love, love, love the shadow image! paper whites are a favourite, the truest sign that spring is on it's way.
PAPERSHADOW will stay with me.

I love the transformation you captures. And those shadows...oh, those shadows...
I've been thinking of your lovely paperwhites when planning to buy some bulbs for my spring garden.
