my daughters friend bought a christmas tree at the lot and came home, decorated it... then noticed tiny spots on her presents. the tree had been full of tick eggs and when she warmed it up the eggs hatched; thousands of ticks all over her presents.

It's definitely a beautiful tree! Haha - nature has her way of 'existing' even when we've chosen another. So you will have a beautiful outside Christmas tree. You can't imagine the number of tiny spiders I find in the wood when I first start working with it. Merry Christmas Elk...

Yea mine was and still is full with little spiders. So I'm vacuum my ceiling every day...grrrr.

ooo ticks, ants??? i guess i'll take the hand-me-down plastic tree my mother unloaded on me...never thought in my entire life i'd have a fake tree...i must admit...it's nice to realize, as i'm driving off, that it is okay that i forgot to turn the lights off..

after we (my husband!) took our holly outside the old standby came down form the attic...the holly is happier in the garden anyway

an outdoor tree is good and yours is so pretty with it's natural red ornaments. decorate it with additional ornaments of pinecones and peanut butter and the birds will love you for it. ; )

I know, sometimes I feel bad having a plastic tree, too, but I guess it beats the laternative. When we used to get a real tree, I always worried about bugs on it even though I never saw any.
