I just love garden seats - some of the iron work is stunning. Have a lovely weekend Elk.

Very much like the top one - the way shadow brings the pattern of the metal out in relief.

There's just so much to discover, so much to see! In our very own backyards... How Joyful it is to stop, and to listen.
to simply be.

It looks very lush in your garden. I'd love to sit there awhile and ponder.

I have to be encouraged to sit, the weekends beg for action but I need rest as well. Thank you for the reminder.

I want to sit opposite the bench and reflect on that beautiful iron work!

Hi Elk. It's been a while since I visited but what a pleasant visit. The patterns and patina lift the common objects to heights of glory. Old benches, especially in secluded leafy environs, are inviting and beckon the heart.

Again, you amaze me. To the heart of the matter, just like that. Once again, I open your blog, and immediately smile - it takes so ittle time for you to say what you have to say, so few words, so few images, and there it is. Once again.
