I love love LOVE this! I can picture the safety, the security I feel when someone else is driving and I am free to just look at all that's out there. And the skies that look like water remind me of being a child - sometimes I thought the skies were water, if we rounded an unknown corner and the blueness, the sheer height of sky surprised me.

these drive-bys are fantastic - really makes a great set. i took an extra 2 days off work so i am feeling cozy in my home decorating with Christmas tunes playing and a fire going.

Oh I love the feeling of travelling through interesting places, watching the colours of the trees and grasses but there is also that wonderful comfort of arriving home ... this post captures that feeling so well.

I love the movement in your images, combined with words there is a real sense of heading home and the feeling it brings to be so close but not yet there.

the slanted angles, the blur, the colour palette.

i like.

the last photo takes me back to a town called Nylstroom. i loved the graveyard. just beyond its perimetre there was a road and a path just like this.

i would walk there, hand in hand with mom, dad, grandad, granny and jock the dog.
