How beautiful your words and how perfect the images are for those words. Thank you for your kind words on my blog. They made me happy. Hope your day has been wonderful.
I love love LOVE this! I can picture the safety, the security I feel when someone else is driving and I am free to just look at all that's out there. And the skies that look like water remind me of being a child - sometimes I thought the skies were water, if we rounded an unknown corner and the blueness, the sheer height of sky surprised me.
rolling right along, loving car shots grabbed in passing...and all is cozy here, thank you...great images on your last post too. YOU BRIGHTEN MY VIEW.THANK U
these drive-bys are fantastic - really makes a great set. i took an extra 2 days off work so i am feeling cozy in my home decorating with Christmas tunes playing and a fire going.
Oh I love the feeling of travelling through interesting places, watching the colours of the trees and grasses but there is also that wonderful comfort of arriving home ... this post captures that feeling so well.
I love the movement in your images, combined with words there is a real sense of heading home and the feeling it brings to be so close but not yet there.

Lovely views on your way home!
the slanted angles, the blur, the colour palette.
i like.
the last photo takes me back to a town called Nylstroom. i loved the graveyard. just beyond its perimetre there was a road and a path just like this.
i would walk there, hand in hand with mom, dad, grandad, granny and jock the dog.
Oh I always do that too, taken pics when driving....okay yes sometimes at the same time but don't tell anybody.
i love taking photos out the window of the car. you never can really see what they will be like until you get home and load them on the computer.
