I really appreciate the wonder if this post, Elk... Everything it possible. :o) I love how the first two photos seem to be "layered"--brilliant! Happy Day ((HUGS))
such great shots - bold and beautiful and inspirational. i especially like the middle one. and there is something very interesting about the last one - the cropping the rock wall and then the natural wall and the trees extending beyond the frame. nice. Elk thank you for you nice comments on my autumnsun blog.
there's that oh-so blue! great perspectives... you make me want to pick up my camera and run outside! right now! even though it's like... midnight! still! :)
trees are so especially wonderful for these reminders, aren't they? ... reaching up toward the sky, limitless... and rooted firmly in the ground at the same time... balance and a center point in everything...
Oh, I missed this post. A slice of the world - that last image looks exactly as if you sliced a knife through the landscape to say See? Politely turning our heads in the right direction. Once again, much said in few words and perfect images.

Nice set!!! Love the texture in that 2nd one.
Lovely images and words. The textures are just beautiful in the image looking up the tree.
Love how you took us thru these three images to where we were actually 'looking'. Wonderful!!!
I love these pictures. Especially the second one!

Bark is one of my favorite things... I wanted to touch the textures in your second image & smell it... fresh & alive!
great inspiration for the start of the week. (Although today is thanksgiving day for us canadians, what the heck am I doing working at the computer?)
Such an inspiration you are! I sometimes forget to look up and when I remember, I stand in awe of the wide expanse surrounding us.
