It is amazing how dry they look and then the one in the pool looks not at all crispy. Amazing the healing benefits of water. I loved the look of them against the timber bench - also the angles - very interesting shots Elk :)
That's interesting. I don't think I've ever concentrated on summer leaves, as opposed to autumn ones -- other then in our forests where they look the same all year round.
Beautiful, I just love seeing the transition of shapes... the partial leaves like abstracts and then the last one floating as if revealing the 'big picture'. Must have been a wonderful Moment for you. :)
hello my friend! the color contrast of that aqua and brown is a wonder! and that first photo with the flower stem and seed turned to an opposing angle made me want to rush out and find my own fallen gifts! p.s. you are such a supporting and sweet friend my dear :)
The single brown leaf in the blue blue pool is absolutely amazing. I am so fond of your clear eye. And view. I always want to put a haze/fog/film over every picture. I admire a clear eye. Wonderful photographs, in other words.
that is so cool...snapping photos at the same time, sharing moments together while apart...im having a postcard swap, & i finally made a couple of ATCs, i'll email you some photos, im not sure if they're right?
thank you, as always, for a little bit of magic! kind wishes

Elk--only you could make dead leaves floating in a pool look good.!! I'm with OLS1, I can't believe how different they all look!

Oh, and margie's comment is hilarious!
Very pretty, especially the textures of wood and crackled leaves!
amazing magnolias - they are so beautiful at almost any stage
The leaf in the water is very peaceful...
These pictures capture stillness, and make me feel at ease and meditative. Thanks! :) I need that!
Love that last shot!

All lovely but the water in the last one is amazing, the way it is partly over the leaf.
A lovely collection of images. I particularly like the bloom? in the top image.
beautiful leaves, I can see my daughter taking each and everyone of her collection.
