I've always felt like every tree is a picture. I'd like to raise a drop cloth behind individual trees and take their photos. (I thought of that a few years ago, and then saw a project where someone had done just that.)

I don't know anything about oaks... are those pink flowers from the oak? They're really pretty!
pink flowers are from an early flowering tree called a Redbud....they are the first to bloom here!
The tracery of lines from that oak are like the backs of my gran's hands - beautiful and wise.
