Elk, that does look a lot like the witchhazel pictures I took, but fringe flower and witchhazel are different plants. We dont have that type of fringe flower here, must be too cold, nice images!
Jean was thinking the same thing when I saw your photos...they may be the same family?this is a pretty hardy bush that blooms a couple times a year.
Thank you all for your sweet comments...now my yard DOES looks winter weary ....lots of brown too ...leaves just coming out...these are just a few of the EARLY blooms. ELK
