REFLECTIONS OF HER

reflection.jpg
sitting
across from my older daughter
with my camera
using
the window like a mirror
to reflect her as
we talk...
laugh....
create....
birds
along side the reflected paper whites
with the faint outline of
the outside arrangement
in the dark.

may you share many"MondayMoments" like this!

It looks like you have a good bond with your daughter. I hope in years to come I can create something simular with my daughter.

Hopped over from Shutter Sisters. I love your photos! This one is especially great. Isn't it nice to have them home from college for a bit?

So precious. As I get older and my kids grow I realize the importance of these ordinary moments in our lives. They really are so important

I love posts like this. They make me look forward to my own daughter growing up, instead of half dreading the day when she is gone. You know, of course, how blessed you both are?

I know I am here a year late :) but this is so lovely and intimate. i will be there one day crafting with my girls, quietly chatting... now it is still me helping them and stopping them grabbing! ahh, the seasons of motherhood!
