There was an owl in my backyard tree eying Buster. Does that count? =)Cool photo of the gourd - they make excellent bird houses.
I've been having a slow down with blogging and blog reading (viewing) over Christmas and new year, so I haven't been here for a while. So glad to have turned up for this post - I very much like your black and white photography. This gourd photo is lovely - very atmospheric . . . if one can have an atmospheric gourd. (Butternut squash?)Lucy
I like the sticks at the bottom of the frame....it adds a perfect touch of contrast to the overall image! Very nice :)O, and those are some cute little birdies you and your daughter crafted! I won't comment cause someone else should get a chance to win something :o)
I like all of the different textures in the photo! We've been having lots of small birds eating seeds that have fallen off of one of our trees onto the snow. Timmy doesn't like them invading his yard!
beautiful still life! I agree the cloth birds would be so cute in this nest.
Is it just me or is there the outline of a bird on the rock behind the gourd!
i see a bird house made out of this gourd.you and your daughter crafted some really cute little birds
There was calvin the coot, sammy seagull, carl crow. This is a game my husband plays with my son as we walk to school in the mornings. Walter wigeon, pete the pigeon ...... Love this b&w, great layering of textures.xoS
I really like this in black and white -- what a nice contrast for the gourd against the wall but also sitting on those twigs.
Why yes, I do! my bird is waiting patiently in your stick tree until you send her to me! LOL!Love your black and white gourd.I never shoot in black and white but you are inspiring me!
I love gourds. There are so many things you can do with them! Beautiful pic.
I've always wanted to grow these gourds to make bird feeders! So cute hanging in trees!
Nice photo, perfect for a B&W.
Love the textures in this, somehow I find the picture really peaceful....
thank you my friends for your visit here and your words of affirmation, they mean so much!
This is gorgeous!!!
