It's you I like,
It's not the things you wear,
It's not the way you do your hair--
But it's you I like
The way you are right now,
The way down deep inside you--
Not the things that hide you,
Not your toys--
They're just beside you.
But it's you I like--
Every part of you,
Your skin, your eyes, your feelings
Whether old or new.
I hope that you'll remember
Even when you're feeling blue
That it's you I like,
It's you yourself,
It's you, it's you I like.

What a beautiful daughter you have, and she lets you take all these photos of her ... WOW!!
I like your word of appreciation too.
And this is one of my all time favorite songs (look at the bottom of my blog) I included it on a meme I was tagged with last year. It's such a sweet song...and Mr Rogers was the sweetest, too!

I am so behind on blogs. I hope that I can catch up with everyone and get back in the habit of posting myself. I've had family at home up until New Years and my daughter is still home til Wed.
great to have family around but I've missed the blogging routine.

Beautiful Pictures, beautiful song. I always loved Fred.
That has been one of my favorite songs since my 2 daughters were young and watching Mr. Rogers...one of the few songs that I probably know all the words to...such a wonderful, gentle show for children...I miss it..it's funny but I have been thinking of his songs lately...
gorgeous girls and gorgeous strawberry hair... Very suitable words for such a lovely post.

what a precious post. it made me smile. your daughters are blessed to have a mother who feels this way.
and as always, great photography.
I have always always loved this poem by Fred Rogers. I snapped my eldest sons photo when he turned two and wrote this underneath it in my photo book.
We should all encourage each other. So thanks for that!
