photo of the tree is one on the high school campus where my 16 year old is a junior...we pass it each day as we drive to school ~ I tend to just say a small "hope she has a great day" prayer to myself and snapped a photo of it one day ~ it is unusual and pretty in its own way...
Our daughters never ever leave our minds, do they? I remember being astounded in the first year of Sloane's life that she never left my thoughts. It was as though I were still pregnant because I always carry her with me. In my heart and mind now instead of my body. There is no joy like a child.
I love the familiarity of this tree for me, and yet it's not boring or background the way that you photograph it. missing your joy in the mornings, ~Laura

Beautiful tree. Beautiful picture of the tree. I hope everything is alright.
powerful. as solid as the tree's bark so is the prayer of a faithful woman.
Very interesting shot! I wonder about the story that makes this tree remind you of your daughter.
