thoughts under a tree
I love my job BUT I enjoy my freedom and the feelings that come over me passing under this maple tree to the rest of my day.
enjoy your moments of freedom today

I NEED CHAIRS!
Not sure I have enough chairs for family gathering around the table Thanksgiving.
my chairs
much like me
do not "match"......
favorite rocker back yard
old wicker becomes planter in garden
love my colored wooden chairs...
this wicker /metal is new...love the look of it...
I could use this one
here.
or how about this one....
so thankful for people to fill ALL my chairs.

he prayed - it wasn't my religion.
he ate - it wasn't what I ate.
he spoke - it wasn't my language.
he dressed - it wasn't what I wore.
he took my hand - it wasn't the color of mine.
but when he laughed- it was how I laughed,
and when he cried - it was how I cried.

ECO ELK
Wayfaring Wanderer
is featuring an Eco-Friendly giveaway
on her most beautiful blog full of imagery
and verse.
She poses these two questions:
"What 5 ways are you Eco-Friendly?"
"Where can you improve?"
the Red or Gray list looks like this :
purchasing food in it most natural form
doing away with lots of packaging.
turn off lights inside and out
compost in the backyard
five ways to improve:
drive a more efficient car (are you listening Santa?)
remember to bring reusable grocery bags when shopping ( I have them just forget them!)
adjust thermostat by 2-3 degrees year around (summer is hardest)
mow lawn either manually (or how about less often)
love my showers ... BUT install low flow shower head to use less water

PORCH PICTURE
front porch
my favorite spot
this pot use to be a lamp
it quit working
so I kept the base
I like the way it looks ...do you?
the grape vine wreath looks bare ....
I prefer the look of the wood and wire..do you?
sometimes a bird nests there
in the spring.
day dreaming is simple here
the only sound are leaves rustling
just right for gazing.... at an amber stone
grazing...only one
or two
just enjoying the moment
glad you stopped by
stop on down the road
for more life
in black and white
