What a cute little pool duck! How did you get that shot? It looks like you took it from in the cold water! Yipes!
If we kept a duck in our pool all year, he would be frozen into a solid chunk of ice all winter!
our October days are so nice I stood on the side of the pool and just shot it!
He reminds me of summer...even if that is a bit of a distant memory. I am originally from Australia where it always feel like its summer. But living now in the pacific northwest I realize there is something to be said for the change in seasons. I am really starting to appreciate the distinct seasons...even if this one is a little chillly!
It gets that cold there?
I forgot that you lived in Texas. I lived their for a couple of years and the weather is wonderful but hot.

what a cute duck - my youngest has a real thing for rubber duckies at the moment.
I love the water in that shot! I can't believe it's that cold already in TX.
